13 Year Well Child Visit

In this visit you can expect us to:

  • Parents will likely be asked to step out for assessment after the age of 13
  • Physical Assessment

- Female: puberty and menses history

- Male: hernia check

  • Depression Screening
  • 13 Year Immunizations. Click on the vaccines below to view the CDC's Vaccine Information Statements.

- HPV (Human papillomavirus)

- Booster dose 6-12 months later (if first dose before 15 years of age)

- For patients who start HPV series after 15 years of age, it is a 3-part series: Booster 1-2 months, then 6 months after first booster dose

- MCV (meningococcal ACWY) booster

- MenB (meningitis B) Booster 1 month later or at 17 year well visit

Blood work as needed for routine screens like CBC, CMP, Thyroid function, Cholesterol/lipid panel.
